Who we work with

Entrepreneurial Background

We prefer to work with investors who bring their own operational experience and can offer startups more than just capital.

Long-Term Horizon

Investments in seed-stage companies and project developments take time. We plan in cycles of five to ten years.

Ticket Size

Co-investments typically start in the low six-figure range per opportunity — aligned during the initial conversation.

ESG Understanding

Frequently asked questions about applying

How does the application process work for investors?+

You reach out by email or via the contact form. After an initial conversation, we align on goals, ticket size and focus, and then give you access to our deal flow.

Is there a minimum investment?+

We work deal by deal. The reasonable size per opportunity is usually in the low six-figure range and is aligned individually.

Does Seed & Foster co-invest itself?+

Yes. We invest our own capital in every deal — our interests are thus aligned with yours.

Which areas do you invest in?+

In two pillars: Bricks (project development and living concepts in real estate) and Clicks (software/SaaS, marketplaces and platforms at the seed stage).

How are startups vetted before an investment?+

Every application goes through screening, a deep dive into team, market and financials, and a term sheet. Only then is an opportunity shared within the investor circle.

What information do I receive after investing?+

Regular updates on the performance, key metrics and exit prospects of the investments, as well as access to follow-on rounds.
